VETSports announces new partnership with Jared Allen's Homes for Wounded Warriors

VETSports is pleased to announce a new partnership with Jared Allen's Homes for Wounded Warriors a fellow non-profit providing accessible and injury-specific homes to critically injured Veterans, mortgage-free. With a shared goal of supporting Veterans when they return home from service, the organization hopes their partnership will further awareness for their joint cause and enhance ongoing community outreach initiatives. Jared Allen’s Homes for Wounded Warriors is a non-profit organization created for the sole purpose of raising money to build or modify homes for America’s injured Military Veterans. Jared Allen’s Homes for Wounded Warriors was established in October of 2009 after NFL Star, Jared Allen returned home from a trip to the US Military Bases in the Middle East. Jared was moved by the commitment, dedication, and sacrifices that our soldiers make every day to protect our freedom. It is Jared’s hope that this foundation will help make the lives of wounded vets a little bit easier. Since its inception, JAH4WW has built 17 homes with 3 homes currently under construction in Tennessee, Michigan, and California.

THEIR MISSION IS TO RAISE MONEY TO BUILD AND REMODEL INJURY-SPECIFIC, ACCESSIBLE, AND MORTGAGE-FREE HOMES FOR OUR INJURED UNITED STATES MILITARY VETERANS RETURNING FROM IRAQ AND AFGHANISTAN.

"The VETSports mission is so closely aligned with Homes For Wounded Warriors that it only makes sense to team up, share beneficiaries, and put our heads together,” said VETSports President Randy Tharp. “We’re so thankful for the Jared Allen's Homes for Wounded Warriors for their collaboration and partnership, we can’t wait to see how many more Veterans in need we’re able to reach.”

Throughout each initiative, the VETSports mission is to help our Veteran members improve their mental health, reduce the number of medications they need, and feel supported by family and friends. Similarly, Jared Allen’s Homes for Wounded Warriors aims to ease the transition to civilian life for America’s most critically wounded veterans and their loved ones. The organization builds homes for Veterans nationwide that are injury-specific, accessible, and mortgage-free.
